Michael Webb was born and raised in Sale Creek, TN, a small town just north of Chattanooga, TN. Michael acquired his strong work ethic early on in life while working on The McDonald Farm with his five siblings. After graduating from Sale Creek High School in 1977, he went to work at Duke Hicks Plumbing and Heating and began his training to become a Journeyman Plumber. By 1990, the former owner of Duke Hicks Plumbing and Heating was ready to retire, and Michael purchased the business and changed the name to Duke Hicks Plumbing and Petroleum Inc.
Michael holds plumbing licenses in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky. He currently is a member of the Associated General Contractors of East Tennessee and the Petroleum Equipment Institute. Lastly, Michael sits on the City Board of Appeals committee in Chattanooga, TN, and is the President of Georgia Tank & Equipment Contractors Association.
